Well, at least that’s what it feels like lately. One of the great things about being an affiliate for MOBE, is that if you generate enough sales, MOBE will buy you a car. That’s how I got my Jaguar F Type and Mercedes SL for free.
When an affiliate qualifies for a free car, MOBE ask them to make a video and share their story. Over the past few weeks, there has been a flood of these new videos like the one below.
The History of MOBE Motors
When Matt Loyd started the free car program back in 2013, it was to be called the MOBE Chrysler program. For whatever reason (most likely because he doesn’t live in the USA), Matt thought that Chrysler was a luxury brand.
Once I told Matt that a video of me getting a free Chrysler 300 wouldn’t exactly inspire people, he changed the name to MOBE Mercedes, and that’s how I got the SL-550 convertible. People much preferred the Mercedes-Benz over the Chrysler, and MOBE gave away a dozen or so new Mercedes.
As great as Mercedes cars are, it’s not the dream car for everyone. I wanted my second car to be something else, and asked Matt if he would consider changing the program so affiliates can get any car they want. That’s how MOBE Motors was born.
Since then, the program has expanded from cars to anything with a motor. A motorcycle, a boat, or a small plane. So long as you can sit in it, drive it, and it has a motor, MOBE will pay for it.
The way the program works is you earn points on every $1,000 in commissions you earn with the MOBE affiliate program. You need a minimum of five points to qualify. Now, $5,000 might sound like a lot, but with the affiliate program paying up to $10,000 commission per sale, it only takes one or two big sales to qualify for the month.
