I know it’s only been seven months since I got my Jaguar F-Type, but I’m already thinking about getting the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder as my next car.
I loved the Huracán when it debuted last year. However, it wasn’t available as a convertible. With the amount of sun we get in the OC, driving a convertible is almost required by law. Luckily, Lamborghini has finally unveiled the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And what a beauty it is!
The most distinctive feature of the new Lamborghini Huracán Spyder is its new soft top. The new top opens via a button positioned on the central tunnel in just 17 seconds, and works at up to 31 mph. Whether the soft top is up or down, the driver can also electronically open the rear window, which functions as a windshield when closed and when open, as an amplifier of the unique sound of the 610HP V10 engine.
Pricing has not been set for the Huracán Spyder, but expect it to cost more than the $240,745 starting price of the Huracán coupe. That’s all a moot point to me anyway, since I won’t have to pay for it. Thanks to the MOBE Motors program, I’ll be getting the car for free!
MOBE has one of the best car programs in the business. They offer the highest payout and don’t limit you to the type of cars. They don’t even limit to you a car. You can use the program to get anything with a motor, like a boat. That’s cool and all, but I’m still into cars.
Below are a few more photos, and a video of the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder taken at the Frankfurt Motor Show press conference.
